How we do it
Partnerships
We partner with local businesses and organisations that are also passionate about making a positive impact in Western Sydney. Our partners empower women through supporting our programs and events and gain the opportunity to create connections with our large network of local women, businesses and government.
Advocacy
We’re committed to hearing from the women of Western Sydney about the barriers they face and the opportunities they desire. We conduct research to give local women a voice and use it to develop programs, opportunities, and to advocate to government and media about what changes need to be made to allow WSW to thrive.
Consulting
With a decade of designing and executing successful programs and activities. we work with NFPs and companies in a consulting capacity to assist with creating a practical, unique and successful initiative or program to align with the social impact goals of the institution.

Empowering women in Western Sydney is at the core of all that we do. We achieve this by building confidence, helping women face and overcome their personal and professional barriers whilst preparing each woman to be financially independent.

Providing opportunities for youth across Greater Western Sydney
Western Sydney Youth is a grassroots organisation committed to providing a voice for people aged 15-25 living, studying and working in Western Sydney.
About Western Sydney Women
We are the first and only organisation committed to advocating for all women across Western Sydney to become economically independent and confident.
We provide workshops and events to develop professional skills for every stage of their career, small business, help gain financial literacy and independence, and find personal growth and confidence.
Amanda Rose founded Western Sydney Women in 2015 with a mission to give the women of Western Sydney a voice, and the same opportunities as the wider Sydney community.
The research conducted by WSW enables us to confidently advocate in business, media and government for our local women and create a positive impact. We partner with local businesses and organisations who are also committed to creating positive change and empowering the Women of Western Sydney to thrive.
Our Impact
We have supported and educated over 10,000 women since 2015.
We represent our women on local and national media including a regular appearances on ABC, Sunrise and SkyNews.
We reach over 50,000 women online each month.
We hold free upskilling workshops, programs and events each year for all women to attend.
Our annual Western Sydney Women Awards is the only awards program representing women at all stages in their life, business and career across Western Sydney.
